Laser Skin Rejuvenation/Laser Photo Facial/Laser Photo Rejuvenation
What Is laser skin rejuvenation?
In laser skin rejuvenation, laser works by penetrating deep into the skin’s dermal layer and generate heat. Dermal heating induces collagen remodelling which tighten skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. The efficacy of laser is now generally accepted in the dermatology community. It is now widely practiced in clinics.
The treatment is quick and painless. You will not need any type of anesthesia. Each successive treatment will produce better results. It is also called as “laser photo facial or laser photo rejuvenation”.
The laser is rapidly moved across the face. It causes non lethal heating in upper dermis and this is thought to act on skin. It also induces stimulation of cutaneous procolagen and results in improvement of skin. Laser causes thermal injury in the form of dermal heating and this thermal injury changes skin glands activity and function. Dermal heating also causes collagen remodelling which improves skin texture.
