what is liposuction or fat reduction?

In liposuction, the fat is removed, creating a smoother, more attractive body contour by the use of suction technique. It improves the appearance of body areas that have concentrated mounts of visible fat.

Various methods include the standard tumescent technique, ultrasound-assisted ( Ultrasonic Fat Reduction ), and the most recent variations of liposuction including Vaser and SmartLipo. How Long do Liposuction results last?

As the number of fat cells in the body is constant (only the size increase with obesity), when a proportion of fat cells is removed , it is permanently lost and so results are considered permanent, but do rely on the behavior of the patient as the remaining cells can grow in size.

How much time does it take to recover from Liposuction?

You have to wear pressure garments for about 4-6 weeks. One can resume his/her duties after a couple of days. swellin and bruises require about a month to go. The final shape will develop over the 2-3 months following your surgery.

How much discomfort is there after Liposuction?

You will feel some discomfort and moderate pain. Doctor will control it with pain medication. Many patients feel, like they do after a really intensive workout, or if they have not exercised in a while. Medicines are likely to help you feel better.

What types of anesthesia is necessary ?
